Avocado Ice Cream Debuts at Sweet Belly
It's the latest in an ongoing series of rotating soft-ice-cream flavors.

Alan Chun, owner of Sweet Belly in Oakland, has just added a new flavor to the rotating roster of soft ice creams served at the 19th-street ice-cream-and-donut shop.
Avocado ice cream, added to the menu this week, will be avalable for at least the next month.
Customers can now create indulgent avocado versions of Sweet Belly's "Sweet Deal" combo: ice cream, plus toppings (such as cereal crunch or Maldon sea salt and olive oil), plus a warm mini-sugar donut (cinnamon sugar, matcha sugar, or strawberry sugar) plus a donut drizzle (honey-butter caramel, spiced chocolate, or Nutella).
The Sweet Belly folks recommend swirling avocado ice cream with Thai-tea ice cream.
