Chop Bar has just completed its new catering menu in hopes that its fans will welcome Chop Bar staff to handle offsite events or even at the nine-year-old Oakland restaurant itself — in the latter case, for parties numbering twenty or more.

The new breakfast menu includes bacon-egg-and-cheese sandwiches; egg-pepper-arugula-queso-fresco sandwiches, carnitas breakfast burritos, and more.

Available in box-lunch form, sandwich-platter form, or other forms, the lunch spread includes Yucatan grilled-chicken tortas; grilled-pork banh mis; Reuben sandwiches; eggplant sandwiches; green salads; goat-cheese salads; and more — including pasta dishes made with Oakland's own Baia Pasta.

At a cost of $50 per person, the "Big Cuts" dinner menu includes leg of lamb with mint chermoula; stout-braised pot roast with horseradish jus; whole smoked Magruder Ranch beef brisket with barbecue sauce; braised black kale; collard greens; horseradish mashed potatoes; Caesar salad; and more.

Also available are buffet options, specialty options such as a burger bar, taco bar, and raw-seafood bar; and an all-appetizer option featuring grilled lemongrass prawns, house-made coppa, braised oxtail, and more.

Also available is the Chop Bar's famous mobile pig roast, which features a forty-to-fifty-pound pig along with cornbread, seasonal vegetables, and more.
