Drake's Dealership in Uptown Oakland has just launched weekend brunch service, and they're calling it "Wake + Drake."
Every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the restaurant and beer garden will serve brunch classics informed with that comfort-food spin for which executive chef Taylor A. Smith is renowned.
The Duck 'n Syzurp is a savory Belgian waffle topped with rich, tender duck confit, candied orange, pistachio butter, and maple syrup; a duck egg is optional. The Little Suzy is the sweet waffle option, layered with orange confit, pistachio butter, maple syrup, whipped orange cream, and whipped butter.
Pizzaquiles comprises braised short rib, enchilada sauce, cotija cheese, poached duck egg, and crispy tortillas. Hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, and a yogurt bowl are also on the menu.
On the beverage front, Drake’s Dealership offers Red Bay Nitro Cold Brew Coffee on draft, plus bottomless Beermosas (OJ + beer), Micheladas, and Brass Monkeys (made with Drake’s 510 Malt Liquor). Brunchers can also try the Revitalizing Tonic Flight: a lineup of nitro coffee, water, orange juice, and Drake’s Denogginizer.
