Have you ever wanted to experience a magazine live? Join Pop-Up Magazine for its brand-new winter issue — an evening of new, true stories about the world around us.

Topics range from science to politics to pop culture, mixing together photography, film, radio, original music, and other media on stage with a large cast of talented people.

This issue features news stories by musician Will Butler of Arcade Fire, writer Jason Concepcion (The Ringer), lawyer and writer Josie Duffy Rice (The New York Times, Slate, Ebony, The Appeal), filmmaker Sam Green (A Thousand Thoughts, The Measure of All Things, The Weather Underground), author Laurel Braitman (Animal Madness), filmmaker Jason Hanasik (The Guardian, Los Angeles Times), writer and editor Francesca Mari (The California Sunday Magazine, Texas Monthly, The New York Review of Books), producer James T. Green (Gimlet Media, The Outline), reporter Sam Harnett (KQED), and documentary filmmaker Sophia Nahli Allison (Sundance Institute New Frontier Lab Program Fellow). Plus, live original music by Magik*Magik Orchestra.

Stick around afterward for drinks and conversation with the performers and producers. Don’t miss it: None of the live magazine is recorded, so this is your one and only chance to see it.
