Local Food Adventures Offers Oakland Restaurant Week Walking Tours
Each tour includes some of the seventy OFW-participating restaurants.

During the ten-day "week," Local Food Adventures will join over seventy participating restaurants that are offering unique dining experiences for the first time in addition to the annual tradition of prix-fixe menus.
“Oakland has such an amazing food culture right now,” said Local Food Adventures owner Lauren McCabe Herpich.
“It’s important to support our local restaurants and culinary entrepreneurs."
LFA will offer a three-hour, six-stop Rockridge Neighborhood Heritage Food Tour on Sunday, Jan. 14 at 11 a.m. and on Sunday, Jan. 21 at 11 a.m.; and a two-hour, four-stop Grand Lake Cultural Cuisine Food Touron Saturday, Jan. 13 at 3 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 20 at 3 p.m.
"My goal is to introduce guests to a wide variety of tastes and hope they keep coming back to the East Bay throughout the year," said Herpich, who will donate a portion of profits from those Restaurant Week tours to the Alameda County Community Food Bank.
