Brothers Jimmy and Scott Luu and cousin Dan Nguyen succeed spectacularly in transposing authentic recipes from their mothers’ hometown in Vietnam to an upscale bistro ambience. The elaborate menu (overseen by the “executive chef” moms) ranges from such unique creations as the Phantastic (or Phan Thiet) roll (a crunchy imperial roll, with pork-and-vegetable stuffing and hard-boiled egg, bundled inside a soft, fresh rice-vermicelli wrap with crispy greens) and spicy wasabi crab cones to such classics as Vietnamese crêpes and steaming bowls of phò. Carnivores will delight in the bouncing beef (filet mignon stir-fired with cilantro, onions and julienne carrots). Lunch and dinner daily.
