This sprawling American chophouse at Jack London Square offers waterfront scenery from comfortable confines with a touch of class. Fish, chops and steaks are the mainstays, and the waiters are masters at plugging the daily specials, so splurge when you can. More familiar items, like the prime rib sandwich or fish and chips, show off Kincaid’s talents as well: pink prime rib spills from a garlic-buttered French roll, and the fish and chips star beer-battered Pacific cod that’s delivered crisp, piping hot and non-greasy—our companion’s favorite Bay Area contrivance of the old standard.
