Double-parking motorists making mad dashes into this old-school Sicilian-style eatery for to-go orders are legendary, as is the line out the door on most nights. But the tiny neighborhood pizzeria, where pasta is as inspiring as the thin-crusted pizza, turns tables quickly, even though these dishes are well worth lingering over. The delicate eggplant parmigiana marries the perfect amount of cheese with robust tomato sauce, surpassing all others, and the creamy-earthy pappardelle porcini (“when available,” the menu untruthfully teases) is another match made in heaven.
