The husband-and-wife team of Massimiliano (Massi) and Jennifer Boldrini have made this off-the-beaten-track, brick-and-steel former spice factory a destination for seasonally inspired northern Italian food, especially that of Boldrini’s native Emilia-Romagna. Ingredients shine brighter than techniques in such dishes as burrata salad with cream-filled mozzarella, house-made spinach ravioli, fusilli al polpio (slow-braised octopus ragu) and tonno alla griglia (grilled tuna) served with roasted fingerling potatoes and peppery wild arugula. The wine list is short but filled with excellent selections. Of the desserts, the light lemon-cream torta della nonna (with a coarse pine nut and almond crust) stands out. Lunch Tue.–Fri., dinner Tues–Sat.
