Chef Max DiMare’s simple, robust and expertly prepared food is the heart of the restaurant, from dazzling starters (pork belly confit, Ahi tartare, arugula and asparagus salad, creamy roasted-tomato soup) through excellent lunch sandwiches (Niman Ranch burger, bacon/blue cheese/avocado) and extraordinary entrees (sautéed halibut, seared duck breast).
