A truly cool concept here: creating community out of stacked storage containers that make up the mixed-used MacArthur Annex. Arthur Mac’s serves as the hip hub or anchor, with a vibe and aesthetic reminiscent of Westbrae Biergarten, Tigerlily, and Drake’s Dealership—all of which happen to be ventures of the Farm League Restaurant Group. Living walls, rows of picnic tables, a partial covered/open-aired patio, gravel crunching underfoot, a fire pit or two, and a kiddie sandbox describe the beer garden. Beer, pizza (cheese, pepperoni, meat of the day, and veggie of the day), plus wings and sauces pretty much sum up the fare, with a bevy of snacks, salads, and one dessert—soft serve ice cream—rounding out the rest of offerings. The all-important members of the taps’ cast range from light golden ales and pilsners to red ales, sours, stouts, and IPAs from recognizable locals like Faction, Fieldwork, and Drake’s. Wine, ciders, craft sodas, and even a spritz mean there is something for the non-beer crowd. Serves lunch and dinner daily.
