Three years and Christopher Cheung, with able assistance from co-chef Brandon Duvea, is going strong with Marica, a stylish Rockridge neighborhood restaurant that specializes in seafood. Inside, the restaurant’s oblong shape and exposed brick walls give it the feel of a New York City bistro squeezed into some TriBeCa side street. The menu is a fusion of Cheung and Duvea’s culinary backgrounds: Cheung is a Hong Kong native, and Duvea is from Louisiana and has Cajun as well as Sicilian heritage. Asian touches will play a more prominent role in coming months. Dinner nightly.
