Fostering Goodwill

This year marks the 90th anniversary of Goodwill Industries of the Greater East Bay, so the nonprofit organization launched a yearlong celebration with a spring anniversary gala at the Lake Merritt Hotel to fête about 150 supporters whose donations raised $56,696. Goodwill helps the needy gain independence through training and workforce development, and GIGEB has served more than 100,000 East Bay residents in its history.
