Don a free T-shirt to support road safety
Whether you drive, ride a bike, or walk, how we get where we’re going is as unique as our destination. But it’s everyone’s responsibility to share the road. That’s why I’d like you to join me in a campaign to promote road safety, with a free T-shirt to help spread the word.
The Share the Road campaign is about the little things that take no more than a second but could make all the difference on the road. Things such as…
Wear safety gear. Mirrors? Check. Helmet? Check. Helmet head? Sure, and why not wear it with pride? You know who else has helmet hair? Roman soldiers and astronauts. Pretty cool company, no?
Pay attention. If you’re in a car, watch for bikes or pedestrians. If you’re on a bike, watch for cars or pedestrians. Being aware of your surroundings not only makes you safer on the road, but you get to enjoy our beautiful city along the journey.
Wear a Share the Road shirt. The bright color makes you visible to other commuters while the message shows you’re working towards a safer, better community for all.
