Pinkbox Doughnuts®, the company that sells ring-shaped treats topped with Froot Loops, Cocoa Pebbles, Cap'n Crunch, Flaming Hot Cheetos, ube purple-yam cake crumbles, and much more — along with old-skool classics and everydonuttything in between — has just announced its plans to open a shop in Berkeley.
It will join the company's three 24-hour custom donut bars in the Las Vegas, NV area.
Pinkbox's signature sweets include Pooh®, a swirling triple-chocolate peak intentionally resembling — well, poo. (A pink-frosted version is dubbed Pinky®.) Other top sellers include marshmallow-filled s'more donuts, glazed twists, mango-filled rounds drizzled with Chamoy sauce and chili-lime Tajín dust — along with a line of half-donut, half-croissant Doughcros®.
According to a press release, the seven-year-old company — named "Best Donuts" last year by the Las Vegas Review-Journal — plans to roll out additional shops through 2020 in St. George and Salt Lake City, UT; Scottsdale, AZ; Reno, NV; and Berkeley.
