A new Porky's Pizza Palace restaurant will open soon in Pleasanton.
Having thrived for thirty-plus years in San Leandro, the family-owned restaurant will launch a new location in a Hopyard Road space that formerly housed Straw Hat Pizza, as reported at Patch.
At the new location, the Valenziano family will serve the same menu as at their original San Leandro location. This includes not only hand-tossed pizza made with California cheeses but also fried chicken, sandwiches, cheesecake, starters, and classic Italian entrées such as ravioli, spaghetti, mostaccioli, and sausage, served with garlic bread.
The restaurant started interviewing potential employees last year and new workers are currently being trained at the San Leandro location, according to Patch.
