Emeryville-based wellness-beverage brand REBBL is starting 2019 with a new program, "REBBL Rejuvenation: 7 Days of Super Herbs," in partnership with holistic health coach and yoga instructor Koya Webb.
Timed to coincide with the new year, REBBL Rejuvenation aims to create long-term lifestyle changes through introducing consumers to plant-based diets featuring so-called super-herbs.
"I love using adaptogens in my daily life because they improve the health of my adrenal system, the system that's in charge of managing your body's hormonal response to stress and fatigue," Webb, depicted above, said in a press release.
"Super-herbs are also antimicrobial and contain antioxidants, so they help me to fight bacteria and harmful substances that enter my body."
Participants in the program will receive free daily recipes and wellness tips that help to demystify adaptogens and other types of plants — such as ashwaghanda, turmeric, and maca — traditionally hailed for their healing powers.
REBBL will further distribute educational materials on social-media channels, encouraging participants to share and discuss, using the hashtag #REBBLRejuvenation.
Participants will have a chance to be entered in a drawing to win a month's worth of REBBL elixirs and a one-on-one wellness consultation with Webb.
"Koya Webb is such an uplifting individual, who is as passionate about nourishing our bodies, our communities and our planet as we are," said REBBL's senior vice president of marketing Rusti Porter.
Every bottle of REBBL is certified organic, soy- and dairy-free, gluten-free, GMO-free, and made without cane sugar, carrageenan, thickeners, gums, or agave. The company's coconut-milk elixirs include Turmeric Golden-Milk (with whole turmeric, ginger, and forest honey); 3 Roots Mango Spice (with ashwagandha, turmeric, ginger, and cayenne), and many more.
"As a brand committed to sharing the wisdom and transformative power of plants, developing this unique quick-guide with Koya Webb's inspiring perspective on holistic wellness allows us to help people kick off the new year with an integrated approach to wellness. Our goal is to share some of Koya Webb's top tips and health hacks with our community and highlight how simple and delicious it can be to elevate wellness with plant-based, super-herb focused snacks and meals."
Although the program officially launches on Jan. 7, users can opt in at any time.
"REBBL's super-herb elixirs make it easy to get efficacious levels of super-herbs in an easy and deliciously nourishing way," Webb said.
