The Face of Gymnastics

Head Over Heels Athletic Arts

Head Over Heels Athletic Arts has been developing flexibility, strength, balance and coordination for 40 years. What sets the nonprofit gymnastics center apart, executive director Katreece Stone says, is the people who work there. “We have a fabulous staff. We love children and form wonderful relationships.” Many coaches are former students themselves. The center offers preschool, recreational, special needs, and competitive gymnastics as well as dance instruction to budding athletes who are as young as one. “Our purpose is to enhance coordination, build self-esteem and develop strength,” Stone says. But more importantly? Stone adds, “Our goal for our students is to provide a lifelong love of being physically active.”
