Berkeley-based Trumer Brewery, multi-award-winning craft brewer of Trumer Pils, announced today that it is contributing $50,000 toward Northern California nonprofits supporting relief efforts after the recent wildfires.

The $50,000 has been allocated between the United Way of Wine Country and the Napa Valley Community Foundation.

"All of us here at Trumer Brewery have witnessed the damage caused by these destructive wildfires, and many of us have family or friends just north of the Bay Area where the impact has been most devastating. We are praying for all those affected," said Trumer's brewmaster Lars Larson in a press release issued today by the company, which was founded in 2004 and is a sister brewery to the centuries-old Trumer Brauerei in Salzberg, Austria.
