Afternoon Delight
More than 300 guests attended the 2nd annual Afternoon Delight on Sunday, Aug. 10, at the Hacienda de Las Flores in Moraga. The event, which is hosted by the Alameda Contra Costa Chapter of the Links Inc., is a benefit for the American Heart Association. Guests were treated to live music by harpist Destiny, and Belva Davis of KQED served as the event’s MC. In addition to a silent auction and raffle prizes, guests could receive massages, adorn themselves with henna tattoos or get free blood pressure and cholesterol screenings by the AHAn. Food was provided by chef Tanya Holland of Oakland’s Brown Sugar Kitchen. Photography by Lewis Smith
