Former underground restaurateur Jesse Kupers and chefs Justin Sconce and Heidi DiPippo found the ideal location to take their home-style operation legit. Their limited but diverse rotating menu of soothing, earthy and elegantly plated fare—from a gorgeous and ample charcuterie plate and comforting soups through tempting meat (lamb shoulder, short ribs), fowl (quail, duck), fish (sole, halibut) and vegetarian pasta (ravioli, cannelloni) entrees and rich desserts (including chocolate bread pudding and the Digs Black and Tan Sundae)—is a perfect fit for the intimate, cottage-like room (complete with a fireplace) that previously housed the beloved A la Carte and Olivia.
