This hip, industrial eatery with art everywhere has been in heavy rotation lately and for good reasons. You can almost always get in without a reservation, happy hour rocks and the kitchen stays open late (with an abbreviated menu). Need more reasons? The cocktails are inventive, and the wine list covers a lot of ground. And the food, simply put, will bowl you over. This is small-plates dining at its finest. Try the Brussels sprouts — slightly charred brown-buttery things and the best around, period. Or tuck into the grilled artichoke, an artful appetizer. You’ve never had French fries as crispy as these or tempura as light and dainty as this. The beet salad adds mâche, goat cheese and pecans for a nutty-earthy flavor. On the full plates side, the hamburger is a thing of beauty, and the Piedmontese Flat Iron Steak will make your dining partner envious. We can go on about the Mua Manhattan, the Rosemary Martini or the Crazy Pisco, but we’ll stop now. See you at Mua! Serves dinner daily; kitchen up until 11 p.m. weekdays and 12 a.m. weekends.
