A lovely summer menu of seasonal offerings includes combinations as simple as Christmas-green thistle penne topped with golden chanterelles and as succulent as charcoal-grilled Paine Farm pigeon. Salty-sweet Sharmyl melon with prosciutto di Parma began a meal, and Madeira and peach semifreddo with wild blackberry sauce completed it.
