A new, spirited taqueria joins the Temescal lineup of dining options. The overhead menu at the front counter can be daunting, but take your time; apps, burritos and cerveza come to your table in quick order. We sampled elote, queso fundido with chorizo, baja pescado and pollo tacos and carnitas quesadillas. The restaurant name means the crazy skeleton, so the décor is full of them, from the papier-mâché dude dangling in the front window to the tequila-swilling cowboy fountain near the kitchen. Exterior wrought-iron gates, colorful piñatas and an altar worthy of Dia de los Muertos increase the Mexican factor substantially. Open for lunch and dinner daily; breakfast on Sat. and Sun.
