    Originally founded in 1935, Alameda-based BayRisk Insurance Brokers Inc. has been providing insurance and risk-management services to businesses and families in Northern California and the greater Bay Area throughout the decades.

   Having guided our customers through local disasters—landslides in the 1980s, the Loma Prieta earthquake in 1989 and the Oakland fire in 1991—we feel our staff is uniquely qualified to help sort through the tangle of options and policy nuances that confront the insurance buyer today.
