11th Annual Madam C.J. Walker Awards

Regina Jackson of the East Oakland Youth Development Center and Dr. Sharon Williams of Children’s Hospital Oakland were among four Bay Area women honored at the 11th annual Madam C.J. Walker Business and Community Recognition Awards Luncheon on March 20 at the San Francisco Marriott Hotel. Sponsored by the Oakland Bay Area Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Inc., the event recognized the African-American women for dedication and entrepreneurial spirit akin to that embodied by Madam C.J.
