Chiodo on Today Show

NBC reporter Bob Dotson recently taped a feature about Oakland artist Mario Chiodo and the nonprofit educational monument project Remember Them: Champions for Humanity for the "American Story" segment on NBC-TV's the Today Show. The segment will run today sometime between 7 a.m.–10 a.m. Also interviewed were Chiodo intern Raynell Phillips, a junior at MetWest High School and Berkeley resident Arryon Greely, the 9-year old model for Ruby Bridges, one of 25 humanitarians featured in the monument. The four-piece bronze sculpture will feature 25 humanitarians and be 52 feet long and 21 feet tall. It will be placed in a public park in downtown Oakland. Read more here.
