Pathway to College

The East Oakland Youth Development Center is hosting an informational meeting tonight. The event promises to help you learn everything you need to know to get into college including details about the admission process, SAT scores, financial aid and junior vs. 4-year colleges. 4:30 p.m.–6 p.m., Jan. 23, 8200 International Blvd., (510) 569-8088.

My son has attended previous sessions and i have found them quite helpful. They help you fill out financial aid applications, hear from guest speakers - often current college students, help with personal essays...THE WORKS.... if you sign up to be in the PTC program EOYDC will find scholarships you can apply for as well as qualifying yourself to receive scholarships directly from EOYDC!
