Tell Your Story

Do you have a family member you wish you had recorded before they died? Is there a photo that fell apart in a drawer? Well now the people behind the East Bay branch of the El Fornio, California Historical Project have a solution to help you and your family tell their story.

Storyteller is an oral history group that will record your friends, family and accomplices. They do what you've always wanted to do—rephotograph and scan crumbling archives. The group also records the oral histories of people you know and gives them back to you in the form of CDs and even iPods so that you can enjoy their words for years to come.

The El Fornio Historical Society was formed in 1876 to support the local history of El Fornio, California.

Learn more about this project and El Fornio by contacting the group at (415) 664-7509 or john@elfornio.com.

I love El Fornio and would love to invite the public to come see our amazing town and learn its history.

You must come see El Fornio when the dolphins are running. My father, Barclay, shot many great photos of the area.
