Fruitvale Cleanup

City crews are conducting a cleanup operation on Fruitvale Avenue this morning. Activities include graffiti abatement, garbage and litter pickup, traffic operations, towing abandoned cars, filling potholes, painting curbs, trimming trees and more, according to a city-issued release. The operation is being conducted by the City of Oakland Area IV Service Delivery System Team. The staging area is on Fruitvale Avenue and International Boulevard at 9:30 a.m. and the cleanup is on Fruitvale between International Boulevard and Lynde Street.
