Architecture and Design Day

200 Second Street at Jack London Square is hosting an Architecture and Design Day, co-sponsored by the American Institute of Architecture–East Bay, tomorrow afternoon. It is your chance to explore the principals of design, color and craft in urban living with special guest speakers. Also enjoy live music, gourmet snacks, tours of 200 Second's award-winning model homes and designer giveaways. The schedule includes The Feng Shui of Organizing with Bethany Saint Clair from 1 p.m.–1:30 p.m.; A Case Study in Color with Suzanne Kozel from 1:45 p.m.–2 p.m.; Better Living Through Density with David Baker from 2 p.m.–3 p.m.; The Quiet Cave: Modernism and the Primitive Impulse with David Pierce from 3 p.m.–4 p.m. Free, 200 Second Street at Jackson Street, noon–4 p.m., (510) 465-7263.
