Best of Alameda Party

Join Alameda Magazine in celebrating the Best of Alameda 2007 tomorrow and honoring all the local winners in categories voted on by the magazine’s readers. The gala includes food and drink from more than 40 of Alameda’s finest restaurants and merchants, an awards reception, iron chef competition, silent auction and live performances by the Sun Kings, Terrence Brewer, Natasha Miller and Dance/10. Proceeds benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Alameda. Tickets: VIP admission, 5 p.m.–10 p.m., $60; regular admission 6 p.m.–10 p.m., $40 advance, $45 at the door; Area 51 at Alameda Point, 2301 Monarch St., (510) 553-0700.
