The Corte Madera taproom opened last month.

Berkeley-based Fieldwork Brewing Company opened a new taproom recently in Corte Madera.

Boasting outdoor seating and 2,400 square feet of indoor space, this new taproom increases the six-year-old brewery’s number of locations to seven.

“We are excited to open the Fieldwork Taproom at Town Center Corte Madera and bring our fresh, locally brewed beer to Marin County,” said Fieldwork Brewing Company’s owner and co-founder Barry Braden.

Doors opened last month at the new taproom, whose menu features over eighteen beers, including several library releases that are available only there — such as Bourbon Barrel Aged Danger Cake Imperial Milk Stout and 2019 Eliza New Orleans-Style Coffee Imperial Milk Stout.

Also debuting at the Corte Madera taproom is a new food program developed by Fieldwork Brewing Company culinary director Jeffrey Amber, whom the San Francisco Chronicle has lauded as a “Rising Star Chef” and whose impressive résumé includes Split, Bi-Rite, Chow, XYZ, Moose’s, and Grand Café in San Francisco, as well as Gigi in Lafayette.

Amber sources organic ingredients from Bay Area farms to enrich the seasonally focused and sustainable Corte Madera menu, whose main focus is Neapolitan-inspired pizza made with organic flour and fresh organic tomatoes, with such topping options as cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, and meatballs. The location also offers a children’s menu.

“We’ve always wanted to offer high-quality foods, and the Town Center locale is a great environment for us to introduce Jeffrey Amber’s menu,” Braden said.

Since its 2014 founding in West Berkeley, Fieldwork Brewing Company has produced over 500 unique beers and opened locations in San Mateo, Monterey, San Ramon, Sacramento, and Napa. The San Francisco Business Times has named it of the Bay Area’s top-ten fastest-growing companies, and it supports nonprofits through releasing benefit beers such as Oakland Pride IPA, Crayon Box Double IPA, and March On Hoppy & Strong.

“We are pleased to be joining so many complementary merchants” in Corte Madera, Braden said.
